Oktoberfest (Munich) – this is the world’s largest beer fest held annually in Munich from late September to the first weekend of October. This event, held in an area called Theresiewiese (near the city center of Munich) is a tradition that goes back to the early 1800s. Over 6 million visitors currently attend Oktoberfest – which served a variety of locally-brewed beers, roast pork, chicken, radish, pretzels, and Kaiserschmarrn (a cut up pancake with extra sugar and raisins) are served.
