Loxx Museum (Grunerstrasse 20, Berlin) – this museum is great for families with small children. Its 3,000 m2 showrooms has lively miniature scenes of the city of Berlin (including traffic with the Berlin S-Bahn, regional and long-distance trains, historical steamers as well as the high-speed ICE, and even the airport). Loxx is reputed to have the largest model railway in the world. There are even simulations of day, night and thunderstorms! Admission: €12.90 (adult), €11.90 (seniors, students, disabled), €8 (children up to 14 years), free for children up to 1 meter in height. Hours: 10 am – 8 pm daily.
