Archaeological Garden/Museum (Karmelitergasse 1, Frankfurt) – located between Frankfurt’s City Hall and Schirn Art Hall, various excavation of this garden were conducted from 1953 onwards. Such activities uncovered parts of a Roman settlement, a Roman sauna, and the foundations of a Carolingian cathedral. A nearby museum has various Roman and medieval artifacts on display. Admission: €7 (general), €3 (reduced). Hours: 10 am – 6 pm (Tuesday – Sunday), 10 am – 6 pm (Wednesday), closed Monday.
