Borchardt (Französische Strasse 47, Berlin) – this German restaurant has been in business since the mid-1800s. Due to its destruction toward the end of World War II, it was rebuilt at a location next door. The menu of schnitzel, steaks, and raw bar selections is served in the stately 150-year-old restaurant space which includes marble columns and restored mosaics. This is another Berlin restaurant that attracts its share of celebrity diners – from president Barack Obama, to Mick Jagger, Morgan Freeman, Pierce Brosnan, Cameron Diaz, Demi Moore, Eva Longoria, Zoe Saldana, among others.
