Bavaria Filmstadt (Bavariafilmplatz 7, 82031 Grünwald) – this film studio was where the internationally-known German film “Das Boot” was made, along with other German films and TV shows. A 90-minute tour of these studios is worthy of a family outing — children can have a ride on the dragon “Fuchur” from the “Neverending Story”, while parents might be more interested in a walk around in the submarine of “Das Boot”.
